That's what monotone has been doing for years.  If it didn't work
well, they'd have stopped doing it by now.

That's a good thing. I guess that I'm going to spy, with my little
eye, their implementation of the schema ;).
Actually I found a C library for filesystem emulation in sqlite, but:
1) It's heavily posix dependant. Doesn't work under Windows without Cygwin.
2) It's really low-level.
3) A library optimized for Darcs behaviour (e.g. slurpies) would be better.
