Certainly gitit tries to look (at the CSS level) like a mediawiki instance, though at the HTML level all the navigation crap appears at the top of the page, whereas with mediawiki it's at the bottom (where it belongs) and then floated to the top for @media=screen users. Nope. I had a near-perfect implementation of the conversion script sitting on my desk a fortnight ago, but I stopped tweaking it to work on other things. In the meantime, gitit stopped compiling for me (so I couldn't test) and I was busy with other stuff.
