One wart in RFC822 that I know about, as the local Unicode nut, is that it has to be 7-bit ASCII and everything else must be encoded using a clumsy not- quite-quoted-printable encoding. For which I once implemented a printer for 'darcs send', which is one of the ugliest pieces of code I ever wrote. Reinier
