Hey Devs, I know you guys are probably busy right now with the 2.0 release but I was hoping to contribute some support for the Nikon D5500. I've been using Darktable 1.6.9 for several months on Debian Testing and it has been great but I've gotten a little frustrated with the noise reduction (I took some potentially cool aurora photos on Sunday) so I thought I would do something about it.
The following appears good: - Sensor Support - Black and White Levels - Basecurve - Color Matrices If any of these do need work then I'm happy to help with a little instruction. I have provided the following: - White Balance Presets - Noise Profile Unfortunately I had some trouble running "darktable --noiseprofiles ./presets.json". It doesn't appear to be an option in 1.6.9. Oddly, I haven't been able to find the noiseprofiles.json file installed on my system. The I guess my questions are: - How do I test these noise profiles? - Are these noise profiles and good? - How do I install them on my system? Thanks for all the great work guys.
