On closer inspection I realized I needed to use the 1.6.9 version of
gen-profile. I check this out of the git repository.
This created a library.db which can be launched with "darktable --library
./library.db".

So while this appears to work I have my doubts. Under profile I still only
have 'generic poissonian'.
