The problem is that there are a number of files that dt does not like
and in a mass import it is impossible to see where the problem is located.
For instance a raw file may have been deleted but the xmp file remains
... dt crashes without warning or a corrupted file somewhere in the many
thousands ... again the system goes down.
If all of my work over time had been done on dt things would been much
easier but 'foreign' types of xmp and other files creates a legacy problem.
