Well I'm not sure. As I said, I was thinking out loud... That said, particular HSL is a lot of work to reproduce manually, and it's hard to verify as most people don't have a lightroom license/install to compare results. And it seems a lot of the film emulation styles that are around seem centered around HSL and tonecurve. But then again I don't have a lightroom license, so I can't do any real tests to verify my own claims :) So take this with a grain of salt.
