Hi!

Have been testing the new mask feature and it's a fantastic tool which
makes it possible to do all photo
prosessing in Darktable. Have some suggestions and ideas:

1. It's "near" impossible to create masks on rectangular objects or
objects with straight lines
Why not make two more mask tools. One for rectangular masks and one for
straight line polygon masks?
Then it would be easier to mask objects with straight lines and sharp
corners like houses, architecture, car plates, signs and so on.

2. The circle mask could be changed to an elliptical circle since
circular objects seldom is perfectly round.

3. What about rotating a mask? Would be nice for elliptical and
rectangular masks. Then I can create masks for eyes in every shape.

4. It's possible to enlarge masks bigger than the picture and plot mask
points outside of the picture bonds. Why not
restrict mouse movement and mask objects in the picture frame when
masks is made?

5. What about free hand mask which snaps automatically to the picture
objects?

6. Also miss painted brush masks which bring a more "hands on analog
feel" to the digital image process.

7. Gradient mask for making fading cornes or changing
sky/earth/lightning on landscape photos.
