this is not a remark wrt that particular patch but a general remark wrt
keyboard shortcuts...
Is it a good idea to add a default mapping at all for that feature ?
shortcuts don't help discoverability (the user sill has to read the
manual/go to the shortcut menu to find it, people don't punch random keys
to do what they want)
I would like to limit default mappings to very obvious cases (like pgup,
arrows, ctrl-c/ctrl-v) and avoid adding default mappings for features that
are specific to DT
i.e only map shortcuts that the user would expect, and leave it to the user
to map everything else to what he likes
thoughts ?
