Oh, right but this is working only for the shape listed under the
corresponding group. I was trying with the shape listed at the end of
the dialog... A bit confusing. Now I'm not even sure why we have the
same shape listed 2 times there. Any insight?

Ok, so what about having the possibility to set the default opacity by
for example adding a slider into the mask manager? This will fit both
point of view :)
