The .local files are always owned by the user, but I want to add, that it is a link to another partition. This worked perfect with Ubuntu 16.04. IMHO it should be enough permission, so a user can read it. But in this case, the user can write it too. With 16.04 another user could use it too. > > On the other hand, there is a file with cropfactor 1 for this lens > > in the lensfun-database, but this is a lensfun-configuration > > problem IMHO. At the moment I am talking only of automatic correction. >There is no correction data for Sigma 70-300mm F4-5.6 DG OS on a > "full-frame" sensor in lensfun (not in github calibration repository). Yes, and therefore I added a line: <lens> <maker>Sigma</maker> <model>Sigma 70-300mm f/4-5.6 DG Macro</model> <model lang="en">Sigma 70-300mm F4-5.6 DG OS</model> <mount>Sony Alpha</mount> <mount>Sigma SA</mount> <mount>Pentax KAF2</mount> <mount>Canon EF</mount> <mount>Nikon F AF</mount> <cropfactor>1</cropfactor> This works, if I remove all other Sigma 70-300mm entries. BTW I have another lens, which is not recognized, but was with Ubuntu 16.04. Tamron SP AF 28-75mm F2.8 XR Di LD Aspherical [IF] Macro I can provide a sample tomorrow, if you want.
