Bonsoir Pascal, Just compiled it and no issue whatsoever with the aforementioned bug 3249.
I use Debian Duster with OpenCL and a Nvidia GTX 970 with Nvidia driver 430.40 and I did the test w/ and w/o OpenCL and w/ and w/o denoise profiled.
I have a couple of remarks/questions concerning the GUI and modules that I will post after I will have tested 3.0 more thoroughly. Looks promising anyway.
Cheers. Jean-Luc On 4/11/19 18:44, Pascal Obry wrote:
The darktable 3.0.0rc0 release is out. The full description and release notes can be found here: https://github.com/darktable-org/darktable/releases/tag/release-3.0.0rc0 This is by far one of the best release ever. I understand that I have already said that for 2.6. But the list of enhancements in this release is just amazing! Lot of work as been done in almost all part of darktable. This is the first pre-release, test it and please be sure to report issues you found. There is one point to really check, we do suspect there is something wrong with the denoise profiled module. See: https://github.com/darktable-org/darktable/issues/3249 Fact is that many people are not reproducing this issue. What could help if you have the issue is to list the hardware (CPU & GPU, the memory and OpenCL driver) in used. We may find a pattern. Thanks all!
