Hi Victor, > 1-Could someone of you clarify this point to me (or point me to some article > explaining it to me)?
Simple a dt version is <major>.<minor>.<patch> A final version has an even number for <minor>. A development version has an odd <minor> number. That is: 2.6.2 (is a patch-set final release) 2.6.3 (is a patch-set final release, released just after 2.6.2) 3.0.0 (is a final major release) 3.1.0 (is a dev release which will lead to the final release 3.2) 3.2.0 (is a final release) 3.0.1 (is a patch-set final release) Hope this clarifies the numbering ! -- Pascal Obry / Magny Les Hameaux (78) The best way to travel is by means of imagination http://www.obry.net gpg --keyserver keys.gnupg.net --recv-key F949BD3B ____________________________________________________________________________ darktable user mailing list to unsubscribe send a mail to darktable-user+unsubscr...@lists.darktable.org
