What a great improvement! At least for someone coming from 1.0.5.
At
first look, the biggest gains for me are the much improved sharpness in
darkroom view, the better performance (no more pixelated
images while working), the look and smoothness of the new controls, the
picker in Tone curve, and the new Color correction interface, which
suddenly makes sense. It seems I've lost my watermark presets in the
transition, but no big deal.
A few questions:
- Did the recent code change regarding OpenCL on nVidia GT220 not make it into
the stable release? I have the same video card as Jordi and OpenCL is grayed
out for me after upgrade.
- Is there a way to set a custom preset as the default for the Output color
profile module? I seem to remember there was an option for this in 1.0.5.
Making my preset auto-applying doesn't apply it by default for matching images.
- The curves in the Color zones module are reset if the user changes the
selection mode for the picker (say from hue to lightness). Wouldn't it make
sense for the curves to keep state?
