Thanks so much for sorting out the build issue. The GIT install was the easiest compile and install I have ever done which is a credit to the devs and to those who write instructions on the site. I hadn't intended to bash Unity, am just not used to exporting extensions to $PATH and then finding that there are multifarious hoops to jump through to get the new stuff integrated in to the desktop (memo to me : go back to a CLI and forget desktops).
