it may be because in lightable you are viewing the embedded jpeg, while in darkroom you're seeing the DT default presets. Once you have processing it once in darktable, it should look the same. you may change you're default DT preferences to disallow use of embedded jpeg (slower of course). ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Everyone hates slow websites.
