Whenever I export to JPG or PNG from Darktable all I get is a black rectangle
between a few kb and a few mb in size. The feature set for the software looks
great and the Linux users all seeem to be giving it rave reviews. But obviously
if I can not export images it is not actually useful. I mean, I am a huge fan
of minimalism but this is going too far. ;-)

I found a thread related to a similar problem on a Linux distro around setting
the 'always use littlecms2 when exporting' toggle but that appears to have no
impact other than changing the size of the black rectangle.

Thoughts?

Running Darktable 1.1.4 on OSX 10.7.5 iMac 3.1GHz Intel Core i5 16GB RAM AMD
Raeon Graphics card with 1GB vRAM.

TIA
