As for myself, I don't even look at what position the module is in the
list; my work is entirely based on what I see in the preview window, and if
it doesn't match what I'm looking for, I try something else.

It's a completely intuitive (or call it trial-and-error) way of working:
I'm driven to the result I'm looking for by  the image I see on the screen,
and how I can modify it; not by any intellectual reasoning, and even less
by any module position... that's way over my head! ;-)

Though I am a designer in other matters, working on images is purely
creation and intuition time.
