One thing I used frequently in Bibble/AfterShock was a key combination
that opened a circular or rectangular area on the screen at an adjustable
resolution defaulting to 1:1 at the mouse pointer which I used to check
subject focus.  Darktable provides <alt><{1,2,3}> which works quite well
but display is locked/positioned at *center* of crop.

Is it possible to position the expanded display at the mouse pointer where
I believe most people would be placing their interest, rather than having
to drag the display to the area of interest (a time consuming action on
large or high resolution photos).
