Hello,

Thank you for providing such a nice software and being available for
support.

My issue is simple : I do not see any of my .icc profiles in the
Darktable lists. Not in output colour profile, not in input colour
profile, not in export profile.

My goal is to soft proof with the icc profile provided by the printing
company, which uses a usual Fuji printer for photo print.

I have put 4 profiles (3 .icc, 1 .icm) in
~/.config/darktable/colour/out, and .../in, and the files and
directories actually have the right permissions. Neither one shows up in
output colour module. I also tried the same in
/usr/share/darktable/colour/out.
I tried on 3 different machines, with Ubuntu 13.04 and 13.10, with DT
version 1.2.3 and latest dev version (only on 1 machine).

I spend days looking for the issue on the web, it seems that nobody has
ever had this issue...
Do you have an idea what I can have missed?

Could it be the icc version/format that is not supported? Neither one
out of 4 different profiles shows up, so the profile is unlikely the cause.

I also tried to import the profiles in Ubuntu color settings, I see that
when a profile is used by the system, and output colour module "display
profile" is set to system, the image appears modified (which is
expected). But when I activate the soft proofing ('s' key), the display
slightly change (a but darker, accordingly to the icc curves), even if
the softproof profile is set to "sRGB"! When no profile is set in the
system settings, or the default neutral profile, nothing happens in
Darktable when softproofing.
This looks a bit non relevant.

Last thing, I tried darktable -d all, and my graphics cards (Nvidia) are
not used on these machines. Is it linked to the issue?

Thank you for your help, I sincerely hope you can find a solution
without bothering you too much!

Arnaud
