i really like all those film looks, especially the b/w ones.

what i don't like so much is that these are only color look up tables, and
seem to be implemented in g'mic as 64^3 luts.. which means it's even only
1/4 of the 8-bit resolution (6-bit lut essentially), not to mention that
you cannot really map hdr though that.

soo... i wrote a little program that fits dt module parameters (which
nicely live in Lab and extend to hdr etc) to those luts. to any pair of
before/after images really. the output is an xmp file containing the edits
you'd have to do in darktable to achieve the same look. you can then apply
that to an image, copy/paste it, create a style from it, alter it slightly
to better suit your needs, etc.

needs some more testing/documentation and some glue code to make it useful,
maybe i'll push that to a branch at some point.
