This one is pretty hard to translate; plus you're looking for a short
answer.
I thinks it's the typical word that we can't translate correctly; in my
opinion we should let "deflicker" in the French GUI.
Every French article I found is talking about "flickering" with most of the
time "scintillement" in brackets.
