I've got a Sigma 10-20mm that's useful on FF from about 14mm, albeit with 
pretty heavy vignetting, so it ends up
slightly wider than my 16-35mm f/2.8.  Forrest Tanaka has some great shots done 
with a similar setup:

You can also put on a 1.4x teleconverter to increase the coverage of the lens 
on the sensor, at the cost of a stop of
light.  I had a bit of a chat with Torsten about doing calibration for this 
sort of lens with and without teleconverter,
and he was interested in giving it a shot, at least. :)
