Hi all,
Apologies if this has been covered elsewhere. I have recently purchased an
EF-S mount Sigma 17-70mm f/2.8-4 DC Macro OS HSM (2012 "contemporar"
version) which I use with a Canon EOS 700D.
When I import a Raw .CR2 file into Darktable and attempt to use lens
correction, I get an error message stating that the lens is unknown.
If I hunt through the lensfun list of known lenses, the Sigma 17-70mm
f/2.8-4 DC Macro OS HSM is covered from version 1.523.
Does Darktable use this library directly? If so, If I download the latest
snapshop, rebuild and reinstall, will Darktable then have the ability to
correct the lens distortion?
