well, I will try to import again the older PEF files on WS1 (local
folders), however, on WS2 I tried importing, clearing all local .files
and re-importing from remote NSF folder and the result is always an
"image not available" && subsequent freeze.

I do not think path has changed on WS1, files are there where they
should be.

If I understand, flagging core option "look for updated xmp files on
startup" will prevent sidecar files overwriting?

I would like to preserve my editing, if possible.

Also, is there any caveat using NFC remote folders?
