Hm, I did some testing and see I'm wrong. If I do the following: 1. Tone curve model, use preset "high contrast" 2. Blending: Parametric mask 3. Input: 0,100,100,100 (upper left slider all to the right) 4. Save new preset: L mask Then I can use this preset with other images. For me(!) that's all I need, I can do my own presets for the other "Pat David masks" and choose them afterwards for other images. I would then adjust the curve, but I would not need to remember the parametric values for all the "Pat david masks" by heart - that's great! Maybe I was just missing the point in the ongoing discussion? But for me one more time darktable proofs as a great piece of software, so keep up this excellent work!
