But which image operation should affect which images?  In paticular,
does removing, deleting, colour-labeling, and tagging affect all
group members when collapsed?

But RAW+JPEG is not expressed using subdirs on the FS level.

It is rather complex and convoluted.  Maybe this is really that sort
of fringe cases that should be covered by Lua.  "Make common things
simple and uncommon things possible."
