The sample file at rawsamples.ch is for the LX7, not the 5. Please do, a lot of cameras use the same raw format but we still have a lot of settings that depend on the specific camera itself. So if we want to make sure we don't break anything we need to test against them all. So even if just the model EXIF string changes (like with the rebranded baby Canon's) we still need to test against it.
