Hi! I often see architecture picture, especially low key black & white, but also high key colourred one, which have a certain "clean" look to them.
It's difficult to describe, but surfaces have lost their fine-grained structure and appear smooth or have a dull glaze. In extreme cases they are structure-less and consist of only one tone.
