Hi,
I would like to know the difference between a base curve and a tone curve.
Is a base curve just a predefined tone curve to mimic jpeg rendition of the
maker or is it a little bit more (that is to say not only a *tone* curve) ?
Taking in account that base curve IOP works before input color profile IOP
when tone curve IOP works after it, what is the best choice : modifying the
base curve for my taste or to disable it and work only with a tone curve ?
Unless the two are complementary, adressing different aspects...
