Hi, I'm surprised none of the contributions from the team at MySQL (including myself, Sunanda Menon, and Lars Heill) came up in your investigations.
MySQL 5.1 has been introduced in the last year, and I'm currently working on the update for that. This may be because these discussions often end up part of the larger webstack discussion than the database one, but I see no reason why we couldn't move them.
