Job: Network LAN / WAN Lead Location: Overland Park, KS Duration: 6 Months Rate: 45 * * *Network LAN/WAN Lead* - Responsible for selecting and implementing ASP and SaaS solutions for NewCo. For select core NewCo business functions, standing up and leading an internal team to deliver the capabilities - The LAN/WAN Network Engineer would need to have over 10 years of experience. - This Candidate would ensure the availability, stability, and integrity of the client's data, voice, video, and wireless network services. - The Network Engineer would be involved in planning, designing, and implementing Local Area Networks (LANs), Wide Area Networks (WANs), and Wireless LANs (WLANs) across the organization and in addition, would participate in the design, installation, maintenance, support, and optimization of all network hardware, software, and communication links. - Develop and present network engineering design packages. - Develop low-level design documentation. - Plan, design, and implement LAN, WAN, WLAN, including development of configurations. - Knowledge of Voice over IP #VoIP# Networks, including development of configurations. - Implement routing protocols, including Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol (EIGRP), Open Shortest Path First (OSPF), and Border Gateway Protocol (BGP). - Troubleshooting and problem solving for network and application issues. - Configure and assist with implementation of network hardware, including Routers, Switches, Wireless Access Points, Voice Gateways, etc. - Create and maintain network documentation as it relates to network topology, equipment, and configuration. - Interact and negotiate with Vendors, Consultants, and Contractors to design and implement network solutions. - Perform network asset management, including maintenance of network component inventory and related documentation and technical specifications information. - Make use of standard operating procedures and applications for service, change, and incident management. - Strong technical project management and engineering skills are mandatory. - Excellent customer service focus and analytical problem solving abilities. - Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication and presentation skills. - Highly self motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail. - Knowledge of IP traffic flow, protocol analysis, capturing and monitoring of live traffic streams. - Ability to document all aspects of network and services provided to users. *With Regards,* * * *Robert **|**Technical Recruiter **|**Platinum Infosys Inc* *Email: rob...@platinuminfosys.com **| **Phone: *214-550-0248* **|** Fax: * 214–260–1160* * *Visit us @ www.platinuminfosys.com* ------------------------------ Note: Under Bill s.1618 Title III passed by the 105th U.S.Congress this mail cannot be considered spam as long as we include contact information and a remove link for removal from our mailing list.
