Meher,

By default EMU0 and EMU1 are in H,H position I have changed them to
L,L as you mentioned.

It's ok, by default they are H,H. In H,H mode only the icepick is present on the jtag chain, so it doesn't work for lauterbach

I am slightly confused with this. I am actually new to lauterbach and
I am currently following their documentation and using the t32start
application to configure and add different cores. It looks like the
above commands you mentioned need to be entered from command line. So
I need to just start the Trace32 debugger and enter these commands one
by one at the command line?

yes, or you can write them into a text file with extension .cmm (extension doesn't matter, it's just a convention), and type:

do yourscript.cmm

do I need to do this every time I close
and start the debugger?

yes, that's why it's better to have them into a script.

As you learn more about the debugger, you will find that your scripts get more complex every time to load all the debugging stuff you may like for your platform.

Thanks for your help,

Your welcome
