I downloaded the git sources by using git-clone git://source.mvista.com/git/linux-davinci-2.6.git i ran ARCH=arm CROSS_COMPILE=arm_v5t_le- make distclean then ARCH=arm CROSS_COMPILE=arm_v5t_le- make davinci_evm_dm644x_defconfig then ARCH=arm CROSS_COMPILE=arm_v5t_le- make uImage I am using the Montavista compilation tools from Montavista's site. I used tftpboot to boot off this image, and the board gets stuck after "Uncompressing Linux ... done, booting the kernel." I have only the ethernet, serial, and power cable plugged in.
This board works fine when using the TI 2.6.10 kernel. Output: ## Booting image at 80700000 ...
