The TLV320AIC31 consists of the following blocks: * Stereo audio multi-bit delta-sigma DAC (8 kHz to 96 kHz) * Stereo audio multi-bit delta-sigma ADC (8 kHz to 96 kHz) * Programmable digital audio effects processing (3D, bass/treble/midrange, EQ, de-emphasis) * Four audio inputs * Four high-power audio output drivers (headphone/speaker drive capability) * Two fully differential line output drivers * Fully programmable PLL * Headphone/headset jack detection with interrupt The chip only has a single stereo ADC. The support for multiple (stereo) inputs only means there is a selection switch (the multiplexer), so you don't have to change cables when you want to use another source. The same for the DAC output side - only one stereo DAC, that can drive different sources. AIC31 has support for two stereo inputs. Currently we enabled only one input and give it to either loopback or record. Can I capture audio from both of these input lines simultaneously? That is, Can I have two different stereo outputs? What deriver level changes are required? My current aic31 driver supports single channel capture/Loopback .i.e. only one channel is enabled at a time.
