Thanks to everyone on this list for all your help. I have found many
answers to my questions searching through here and everyone is very willing
too help.

I have a question that is pretty low level and not sure if anyone has
investigated it.
We have a DM355 EVM board Rev C2 from Spectrum Digital. As I was looking
at the schematic
and checking out the interface for the NAND Flash a question came up. The
EVM gates the output
of the DM355, address A12 with the chip select 0, so EM_A12 gets ORed with
EM_CE0. The question
is is EM_A12, pin Y21, setup as the address A12 or as a GIO pin?

>From some of the reading I've done on the DM355 EMIF I would have thought
this was a GIO pin but
the name sure does look like an address pin. Also in PINMUX2 you can only
configure the whole
address range from A3 to A13 as either address or GIO so when I look at the
schematic the other
address pins are labeled as GIO pins which seems contradictory. Then when
I checked Spectrum
Digital's site they have included GEL files and they define the PINMUX2 as
an 0x00000004. Which
says the EM_A13 to A3 address range is defined as address pins. So does
anyone know the real answer?

Thanks again for your help,

GARY ELLERBUSCH
