Kish,
 I was responding to a mail about the COGNOS and UDB. If I remember correctly, the 
problem was that even  after you cancel the query from COGNOS it runs on the database. 
All TCP interrupt signals are send using the interrupt port. If this port is not 
available for DB2, you might experience these problems.

I didn't get your suggesttion, what is "command/connect port number +1. ". Is this is 
the way to connect to access database command line? Are there any  command line 
instructions avalilable for Access database and if so where can I find them?
