AIX 4.3.2 to AIX 4.3.3

Hello all,
We are upgrading our server and moving the db2 databases onto the new machine. All the tables have been copied but some of the SYSCAT tables haven't been e.g. packages, functions.
Will doing a restore on the new machine from a backup of the database on the old machine solve the problem? or is there another 'right' way to duplicate a database.
Any help or pointers on this gratefully received.
