No, sorry.  That was a recommendation from someone else to install the
latest, so I was just telling how to install Oracle8, but in your case your
driver should do.
Have you tried the permissions change as I mentioned in the previous
message.  Try to log on as admin if you haven't already.  Or try to
resintall everything under the same user name.
