I have a Windows Server2008 64 bit box, with perl 64 bit and Oracle 10g
64 bit installed and trying to install DBI and DBD oracle to make oracle
connections. I have never built a perl file. I have always just used
ppm. So this is the first time running though it. Any help running
through a few steps would be appreciated.

I have Visual C++ 2008 Express Edition on my laptop.

Up we are using it right now with no real problems.

Will need to know what you are trying to do

You can now use MS Visual C++ 2008 express edition 'right our of the
box'

to do the build and compile and install

cheers
John
