A nice feature I've been meaning to put on the request list is a clean shutdown signal - eg. "dbmailctl shutdown" signals all daemons to close once the current connection is finished (maybe with a timeout .. and don't know if you can signal an imap client to go away) and no new connections are accepted. Another task that could probably be added at the same time without much more work is to signal the daemons to reload the config without dropping all current connections (either gracefully finish the existing ones, or reload the config with them still open if feasible). -- Jesse Norell jesse (at) kci.net
