A nice feature I've been meaning to put on the request list
is a clean shutdown signal - eg. "dbmailctl shutdown" signals all
daemons to close once the current connection is finished (maybe
with a timeout .. and don't know if you can signal an imap client
to go away) and no new connections are accepted. Another task that
could probably be added at the same time without much more work is
to signal the daemons to reload the config without dropping all
current connections (either gracefully finish the existing ones,
or reload the config with them still open if feasible).
