Summary: Unix socket support for lmtpd
Description:
Because lmtp runs mostly on the same host as smtpd, it can bind
to the unix socket which has much lower communication overhead
than tcp socket.

Sure, but I haven't seen this available in the configuration of any SMTP
servers. Do correct me if I'm wrong, however!

Exim v4 supports lmtp over unix socket.

Postfix also support lmtp over unix sockets.

I've added unix socket support to lmtpd. For now this is exclusive: if
SOCKET is defined, no inet sockets are created.

Expanding this to imapd and pop3d is trivial, if so needed.
