A NOTE has been added to this issue. ====================================================================== http://www.dbmail.org/mantis/view.php?id=231 ====================================================================== Reported By: cwarden Assigned To: ====================================================================== Project: DBMail Issue ID: 231 Category: IMAP daemon Reproducibility: always Severity: minor Priority: low Status: acknowledged ====================================================================== Date Submitted: 17-Jul-05 20:04 CEST Last Modified: 30-Apr-06 12:01 CEST ====================================================================== Summary: Multi-line headers mangled by IMAP daemon Description: The imap daemon is screwing up multi-line headers. Newlines within a header are being replaced by tabs. The pop3 daemon sends the headers correctly. ======================================================================
---------------------------------------------------------------------- paul - 01-Aug-05 10:27 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Why do you consider this a bug?? Multilines are collapsed, but are still very much rfc compliant. What's bugging you here? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- cwarden - 01-Aug-05 17:51 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Some headers such as SpamAssassin's X-Spam-Report and many Received headers are meant to be human-readable. Unfolding them makes them much less readable. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- paul - 31-Aug-05 13:44 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- This will be fixed in future releases. It's an upstream gmime issue that has already been fixed in gmime's cvs repository. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- aaron - 30-Apr-06 12:01 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Do we know what release of GMime has this fixed? I suppose if it's 2.1.14 or lower, the Debian minions might consider this bug moot ;-) Issue History Date Modified Username Field Change ====================================================================== 17-Jul-05 20:04 cwarden New Issue 01-Aug-05 10:27 paul Note Added: 0000790 01-Aug-05 17:51 cwarden Note Added: 0000792 31-Aug-05 13:44 paul Note Added: 0000895 31-Aug-05 13:44 paul Priority normal => low 31-Aug-05 13:44 paul Status new => acknowledged 31-Aug-05 13:44 paul Resolution open => suspended 30-Apr-06 12:01 aaron Note Added: 0001140 ======================================================================
