Hello,

This is teetering on "unrelated", but my /proc/sys/kernel/shmmni was set to 4096, and I was getting the same error. I've increased it to 16384. Is this too extreme? Is it going to cause any potential issues for my system? And how many shared segments does DBmail need? (SVN 2304/Debian Etch/PGSQL)

>From "man *shmget*":

ENOSPC All possible shared memory id's have been taken
(SHMMNI), or allocating a segment of the requested size would cause the
system to exceed the system-wide limit on shared memory (SHMALL).

Check/adjust /proc/sys/kernel/shm*
