I love memcached. Great stuff for mostly-reads websites, afaik. But I
don't see how to use it in dbmail. Or at least, not until dbmail has a
proper caching layer internally whose memory footprint needs to scale
beyond the local server.

But you probably know more about memcached deployments and use-cases :-)
