Thank you for your replys, I do believe that putting this into dbmail will be more
trouble than it is worth, may lead to a future maintenance headache. I'm thinking
the best course would be to use procmail to spawn off a process to check the database for the
whitelist and send on any emails that pass to dbmail for storage. The
particular program I'm looking at is spamassassin (there is beta database
compatibility). My latest problem is getting procmail to send the mail to
dbmail, I haven't tested the spamassassin db connectivity yet.
Any help from you gurus would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you

Hello All,
I'm setting up DBmail with postfix at my company. With the database
functionality (postgres at this site) it seemed a natural fit for
multiple users. Since we have multiple users we would like to the
functionality for each user to set up their own whitelist, the belief
is that blacklists are flawed. I've searched through the code to get
an idea but I can't seem to find the most basic and most important
piece of information. I speak of the "From" address to implement the
whitelist. Any clues would be very welcome.
Thank you
