Since a large majority of dbmail users are using postfix for their mta I thought this question might be appropriate for this list. Has anyone ran into "too many hops" error after installing amavisd-new, spamassassin, and clamd into postfix. When I add the line: content_filter-smtp-amavis:[127.0.0.1]:10024 into postfix's main.cf file and then reload postfix I am getting too many hops and the mail is not delivered. Currently I have had to disable amavisd so email keeps coming through. Desperate here for a solution to this postfix/amavis problem as my users are getting pounded by spam and viruses. I have been googling for days now trying to find a solution, but none found. I have run the standard tests on amavisd, spamassassin, and clamav and everything checked out. They are all functioning, but postfix doesn't like sending mail to amavisd for some reason. Thanks for any help on this, Nate _______________________________________________ Dbmail mailing list Dbmail@dbmail.org https://mailman.fastxs.nl/mailman/listinfo/dbmail
