Hello!
I have Postfix+DBMail 2.0.10 at a number of initualy Mandriva box(e)s.
Make SMTP auth according to RFC-2554 by Postfix+SASL, SASL using DBMail MySQL database instead its own one. Make APOP-MD5 auth as in RFC-1734 by SASL too. I need not TLS, but think it`s not a serious problem for Postfix+DBMail+SASL in this manner, for POP or for IMAP. I think DBMail is a very good project. I needn`t once more Sendmail, including all possible and impossible functions, but unsecure and too hard for unstallation and using.

Best regards
Vladimir Likhachev

Of course not. ack as in acknowledge. It's a faq, and a relevant one.

Plans yes, but planning no. So it's on the todo, but unless someone
provides funding it's not a priority.

As just another imaps server.
