I have attempted to do this within dbma by setting the default domain to
the domain I am adding users to, then adding a user as a complete email
address "[EMAIL PROTECTED]" and I get the following error when I click add
user: "RFC-Illegal email address for: [EMAIL PROTECTED]@domain.com"
The account is created, but no mail boxes are created.

It would seem that the @ cannot be used in the user name.

I guess what I am trying to achieve is to have the user login with their
alias. As far as I am aware this cannot be done.

Any thoughts on this would be helpfull.

Regards

Fred
