There is a path in outlook's preferences where it holds stuff.
ps. Sniffing pop traffic could help.

I had this in mind also, but also thinked it could be something with dbmail.
I removed and created the account again, but it still doesn't download the
messages, does anyone knows how to delete this outlook info so that I can
download the messages?

I have a situation, I have a user that uses only POP3, and he checked

option on outlook to "leave a copy of messages on server".
the ids, seen by outlook, are stored locally on the outlook client.
dont know exactly where... but it is not a server thing, its client
stuff.
